THE SAN BLAS (KUNA YALA) ISLAND TOUR:
A turquoise sea speckled with coral gardens, palm islands with white sandy beaches and thatched-roof Kuna villages. One of the world’s most magnificent archipelagos. A must for everyone visiting Panama. Coral Lodge supports the Kuna Yala communities by promoting the island tour. Kuna Law requires we show what part of the total cost is received by the Kunas that help provide it.

TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE:
OUTBOUND TRANSFER AND TOUR:
4:45am pickup at Panama City hotel and transfer to Albrook Airport.
6:00am Flight to San Blas Porvenir Island.
7:00am Start San Blas Tour with bilingual Kuna guide.
7:30am Typical Kuna breakfast in Kuna village and continued tour.
9:30am Transfer to a pristine island for morning of snorkeling and relaxation.
12:00pm A delicious picnic lunch on one of the San Bals islands.
1:30pm Transfer to one of the outer San Blas Islands to relax after lunch.
2:30pm Boat transfer to Coral Lodge (Approx. 1 hour).
3:30pm Arrival at Coral Lodge.

RETURN TRANSFER AND TOUR:
10:00am Check out.
10:30am Departure from Coral Lodge by boat for 30 minute boat ride to Miramar.
11:00am Depart from Miramar for road trip back to Panama City.
12:00pm Tour of the Spanish fort of Portobello and Church with the Black Christ.
1:00pm Lunch at the Coco Plum restaurant or similar on the ocean.
4:00pm Arrival at your hotel Panama City or at the Airport.

Please note: A tour of the Mira Flores locks on the Panama Canal can be included as well as a trip on the historic train track from Colon to Panama City. For more information on this please contact or office in Panama City.

PLEASE NOTE: Because of logistics of getting to and from the lodge and limited boat service, our transportation package has a set itinerary for both arrivals and departures. Any variation will incur a surcharge since additional boats and/or vehicles would have to be scheduled. The outbound transfer includes the half day San Blas island tour which by Kuna law is operated by bilingual Kunas guides. Travel times listed below are approximate depending on weather conditions which are worse January through March. Please see attached letter for guests arriving in San Blas Islands.
